From a Garage Startup to Cincinnati's Most Trusted Name
In 1985, Edward "Eddie" Ruben recognized that Cincinnati homeowners deserved better storage solutions — custom-built, thoughtfully designed, and installed by craftsmen who cared. He launched Closets and More from his own garage, and demand grew faster than he could have imagined.
By December 1990, the company had outgrown its Springfield Pike location and moved to 8766 Reading Road in Cincinnati — where it operates to this day. Today, Eddie's son Zane Ruben serves as President, carrying forward the same commitment to quality and customer service that built the company.
What makes us different? We manufacture every custom storage system on-premise in our advanced Cincinnati facility. Our team includes craftsmen who have been with us for 10 to 20+ years — people who take real pride in their work and in our customers' satisfaction.

Our History
1985
Eddie Ruben launches Closets and More from his garage, identifying an underserved market for custom storage in Cincinnati.
1990
The company outgrows its Springfield Pike location and moves to its current home at 8766 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH.
2000s
Closets and More expands its team and manufacturing facility, investing in advanced equipment to serve the growing Tri-State demand.
Today
Zane Ruben, Eddie's son, leads the company as President. The team includes craftsmen with 10–20+ years of tenure.
